Sir

(2)

With reference to your letter of the 15th November

i

last we have now served the notices on Mrs. Bellairs and Mr.

Elvy Robb, and return herewith two copies of the notice with

certificate of service endorsed thereon. Both Mrs.Bellairs

and Mr. Robb declined to sign a receipt on the notice, but

both admitted they were the persons named therein.

2. It has not been possible to effect service on Mr.

Richard Owen Roberts as we find he died on the 11th September

1929. According to English law Mrs. Bellairs and Mr. Robb

as the surviving Trustees are the proper persons to be served

and we assume that the same applies in Hong Kong.

3. We have forwarded a note of our charges to the

Crown Agents for the Colonies as instructed.

We are,

Sir,

Your obedient Servants,

The Under Secretary of State,

Colonial Office,

Downing Street,

S.W.1.

Durshells.
